My Swiss Lake Tour Lake Walensee boat tour for a full day!

Lake Walensee boat tour for a full day!

Lake Walensee boat tour for a full day!   In the heart of the holiday region “Heidiland” after Johanna Spyri’s world-famous Heidi story, tour one of the larger lakes in the Riviera of Eastern Switzerland. We’ll start the boat tour in Weesen, in the western part of the lake and then make our way to Betlis where we’ll try and catch a glimpse of the impressive, up to 700m tall, Seerenbach waterfall. At around noon we’ll continue our eastward journey and go ashore in the tiny village of Quinten, top spot on this lake.  You’ll be able to pick a place for lunch, we warmly recommend the Seehus restaurant with cook Carlo known for his traditional cuisine across all of Switzerland. Back on-board stop and anchor anywhere you like so you can jump off the boat to swim or tan or just relax.   If you are interested, you can experiment steering the boat, both at low and high speeds and learn about boatmanship. Options: - 1 hr extension - watersports practice and rental  - transfers (Lucerne) - transfers (Zurich)    Highlights: 1 Lake Walensee. Largely unknown by the crowds and running from East to West this lake is characterized by its unique fjordlike, Norwegian lookalike landscape with very steep if not vertical slopes in the North (Churfirsten mountain, 2400 meters). 2. The Seerenbach waterfall. Slightly inland, near Betlis chapel the waterfall consists of 3 different stages or cascades, the largest over 300 meters tall. It is possible to hike for 20 minutes to approach the fall even closer. 3. Quinten. This car-free village forms a wine growing region accessible only on foot or by boat. It’s very pretty and enjoys an extraordinary mild, Mediterranean climate where kiwi, figs and other southern fruit are grown.   Why book this tour ?  + Uniqueness:  No other operator offers this tour, unforgettable experience guaranteed. + Personalization: tour customization possibilities included + Safety:  experienced skipper included, boat & car are almost new + Fun: sound system provided, option to add watersport activities + Sightseeing: Seerenbach waterfall and Quinten stops included + Extra comfort and privacy: Pick-up, drop-off & transfers can be added + No hidden fees: Boat rental, fuel, licenses, permits included

My Swiss Lake Tour Lake Zurich boat tour for a morning!

Lake Zurich boat tour for a morning!

Lake Zurich boat tour for a morning!   We’ll tour the northern part of the lake, close to Zurich: we’ll start off in Wollishofen and head towards Enge and the Old Town. First, we’ll pass the Lion statue by Enge harbor, then we’ll stop by the famous Aquaretum fountain to take some photos. 10 minutes later we’ll enter the Limmat river by going under the Quaibrücke before reaching the Grossmünster on the right and the Fraumünster on the left, our half-way mark. On the way back to Wollishofen we’ll enjoy the astounding views of the Alps in the south and go ashore for a coffee-break in Kilchbergs Mönchhof.    Other stops are possible anywhere so you can jump-off the boat, swim or tan or just relax.   If you are interested, you can experiment steering the boat, both at low and high speeds and learn about boatmanship. Options: - 1 hr extension - watersports practice and rental  - transfers (Zurich)    Highlights: 1. Lake Zurich. Formed by the river Linth and itself originating from meltwater of Glarus Alps glaciers in the South, the water exits through the river Limmat in Zurich. Fun fact: lake Zurich last froze up in 1963 and this happens only three times per century on average. Its water is so clean and potable that it is fed into the Zurich city water system after only minimal purification. 2. Aquaretum. The fountain just outside Enge harbor was designed by artist Andres Bosshard and built by Fischer Architects in 2019 as an update to the previous fountain. It consists of 12 tilted nozzles arranged in a circle producing jets reaching up to 35 m. The jets are directly driven by the weather and by seismic activity worldwide as recorded by ETH Zurich. At dusk and on public holidays LED lights give the fountain a special accent. 3. Limmat river. It starts in Zurich and flows in a northwesterly direction for 35 km where it joins the Aare. It is a popular bathing spot for locals. In history, travels from Zurich to Koblenz took place as far back as the 12th century. 4. Grossmünster. This is one of the four largest churches in the city and forms part of Evangelical Reformed Church. It was inaugurated in 1220 and commissioned by Charlemagne. 5. Kilchberg. A small town just south of Zurich. It is famous for its favorable tax regime, its high wealth resident and the Lindt & Sprüngli chocolate factory. We like Kilchberg because of Mönchhof am See, a cozy water-front café/beer garden/restaurant that is just perfect to relax.   Why book this tour ?  + Uniqueness:  No other operator offers this tour, unforgettable experience guaranteed. + Personalization: tour customization possibilities included + Safety:  experienced skipper included, boat & car are almost new + Fun: sound system provided, option to add watersport activities + Sightseeing: Enge, Old Town, Kilchberg stops included + Extra comfort and privacy: Pick-up, drop-off & transfers can be added + No hidden fees: Boat rental, fuel, licenses, permits included

Meet the skipper at the boat ready to go at Wollishofen Marina to either improve your wakeboarding or try it for the first time!  We guarantee that each rider will get at least 2 sessions of 15 minutes net traction time. The maximum capacity for this activity is set to 3 participants to maximize time practicing.    The routine: 5 minutes after leaving the harbor we will reach the watersports zone (no speed limit), switch off the engine and the first wakeboarder will get ready, slipping his feet into the open-toe bindings and putting on the mandatory impact and life vest.  In the meantime, the skipper will untie the towrope and check wind and traffic conditions.  At that point the wakeboarder slides into the water, grabs the towrope and aligns for take-off.
